Q. What are the advantages to Ala Carte Weddings vs. disposable wedding cameras?
A. Ala Carte Weddings professionals have quality, high tech equipment, training and the
experience necessary to capture the special moments of your wedding with proper lighting
and framing. They also have the ability to take virtually unlimited images.
Typical disposable wedding cameras are usually only good for a distance of four to twelve
feet. Unfortunately, most guests don't understand the limitations and take many shots that
will be too blurry, too bright or too dark. At a cost of about 12.00 per camera for the product,
developing and printing, you're spending at least $120.00 for ten cameras. With a limited
number of images per camera usually mean that there aren't any shots left after a short time.
If you'd like a lot of extra candid shots, you might choose to ask a couple of friends or family
members to bring their digital cameras and capture those unique, spur of the moment shots
that can occur in other locations besides the center of activity where your professional
photographer is concentrating his or her attention.
